Obituary of Mary Jo Corrado

Mary Jo "MJ" Corrado, 60 of Tibbits Avenue in Troy passed away peacefully at home in the loving care of her family.  She was born in Germantown (Philadelphia) PA on Feb. 26,1959 and was the daughter of the late Pasqualae and Eda Marini Corrado.  MJ was a graduate of Cardinal Dougherty High School and Hudson Valley Community College.  An avid supporter of the Marching Arts MJ ( Mary Jo )  Corrado could always be found at a local show.
Never just watching but volunteering her time to the growth and betterment of any program that supported youth in the activity.  Having marched in several  Drum Corps herself, MJ understood the impact and life altering nature of the community and desired to give back.
A wonder in the garden, a true friend to many and a faith filled servant of God.  She was a gifted musician who loved her drum corps groups.

She is the sister of Pasquale Corrado pf Philadelphia PA and Louis Corrado of Clovis, NM; dear aunt of Jessica Platt of Exton, PA, Sabrina Tarlo of Lansdale, PA, Gina Tarlo of Cheltenham, PA, Joseph Corrado of Philadelphia, PA; grand aunt of Justin Platt, Taylor Platt, Anthony Tarlo, Savanah Tarlo, Aubrey Tarlo and Italia Tarlo; sister-in-law of Donna Corrado of Jenkintown,PA;  she is also survived by many dear friends.

Visitation will be held on Monday from 5-7 pm in the Gordon C. Emerick Funeral Home 1550 Rt. 9 Clifton Park,NY 12065.
